Peter Markakos is the President and Founder of EDC Consulting. Pete has extensive experience working for large companies, systems integrators and “Big 4” consulting firms and has served in executive positions for such companies as SAP, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM. Pete has built from ground-up and successfully led Sales, Business Development and Proposal organizations. Throughout his career, he has been successful at formulating and executing strategic plans and growing market presence while maximizing revenues in large and small business/start-up environments. Pete is a retired 24-year U. S. Marine Corps Reserve officer with 9 years of active duty. He has a Master of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. He is an active member in numerous industry groups and professional organizations.
Uli Werner is the Chief Executive Officer and co-Founder of EDC Consulting. Uli spent 16 years at SAP where he held a variety of senior executive and executive management positions within SAP America and its subsidiaries. Uli has a strong technical and functional SAP background and served as the executive sponsor and stakeholder for bringing SAP’s Public Sector Industry Solution to the Federal Marketplace. Uli led SAP’s Public Services team and was responsible for Software and Solution Sales, Strategic Alliances and Product Management. Uli was also the founder and executive sponsor of SAP’s first Public Affairs and Government Relations practice and Political Action Committee (PAC). He has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Computer Science degrees and is an active member in numerous industry groups and professional organizations.
Bill Elliott is the EDC Director of Business Operations. He served with distinction as an infantryman and engineer officer for 9 active duty years in the U.S. Army. Joining industry in 2002, he captures federal business involving information technology, business management systems, and specialized professional services to national security clients. Bill manages the corporate BD pipeline, task order responses from EDC contract vehicles, and proposal development from pre-solicitation through submission and award.
Dori Markakos is the Financial Controller for EDC Consulting. Dori has more than 12+ years of experience in financial and accounting operations, financial administration, and a wide range of compliance and policy matters. Dori previously worked in the property management and construction industry where she served as a Director of Operations and managed over 400 individual properties and a real estate portfolio valued in excess of $40M. Dori is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s School of Commerce and received her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a specialization in Business and Marketing. She was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the business honors society.

Teresa Vallelonga is EDC Consulting’s Personnel Manager. Teresa has more than fifteen years of experience working in the Human Resources field. Teresa has experience in benefits, payroll, and compliance. Before joining EDC, she worked as a Human Resource Manager for other Government Contractors in the Northern Virginia area. Teresa received an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Northern Virginia Community College. She is an active member in the Society for Human Resource Management and is pursuing her SHRM-SCP certification
Kien Lam is EDC Consulting’s Project Accounting Manager. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Kien has more than 15+ years of experience in the Small Business and Government Contracting arena. He prides himself in being a quick learner with not only accounting, but its computer related software. He has worked his entire career with Small Business entities. Kien has been able to hit the ground running with his knowledge and experience in Project Financials and knack for understanding Contract awards and modifications. He is diligent with his focus on the project billing, and works competently with Program Managers to recognize the financial state of multi-million dollar programs. Kien has also worked with multiple companies assisting them with new accounting software and the associated implementation process.
